My short-short story, “Colfax,” was recently awarded Honorable Mention as part of Glimmer Train Press’ March/April 2018 Very Short Fiction contest. Definitely check out the full Honorable Mention list if you get the chance (it seems fairly fitting that this is a Very Short Fiction contest and my name/title are the shortest on the list).
It’s tough to know I came close (or relatively close, at least), but I’m happy the piece — which carries a particularly meaningful message — earned recognition from such a prestigious journal.
